작품은 조각의 반복적 행위와 회화의 즉흥적 표현 모두를 담고 있다. 작가는 '『Double Layers』 숨겨진 이야기' 에서 그간 경험을 바탕으로 자신만의 양식을 찾기 위한 폭넓은 작업 스펙트럼을 선보이는 동시에, 자기 고백적인 메시지가 담긴 '사랑'에 대한 생각을 동양적 화폭을 연상케 하는 철재 캔버스 안에 은은히 드러낸다.

His practice conveys not only repetitive actions of sculpting, but also spontaneous depicting features of painting. The exhibition, <Double Layers: Hidden Srories> will display Kim’s wide range of works attained in the course of discovering his unique style based on diverse experiences. Furthermore, Kim will delicately present reflections upon ‘love’ containing a message of self-confession onto his metal canvas reminiscent of oriental paintings.
