오유경 작가는 서로 연결되고 축적하고, 또다시 쌓이고 반복되는 설치 작품을 통해 세상은 계속해서 여러 관계 속에서 변화하고 있음을 시각화한다.

작가의 작업의 주요 재료 중 하나로 자리 잡은 크리스탈(수정)은 우연일까! 투명도가 높고 빛나는 성질을 가진 크리스탈 구를 주재료로 쌓아 올린 '바람의 탑'은 작가의 시간과 공간을 투영하고 있다. 물질적이지만 비물질적인 이 작업은 크리스탈 구를 관통하여 들여다보면 상이 뒤집어져 맺힌 것을 발견할 수 있다. 그 깊숙한 내면에 작가는 관계 맺고 얽혀 아이러니한 세상을 담아내고 있다. 단일화된 유닛은 모듈화도니 조화 속에서 불균형을 만들어 낸다. 끊임없는 변화와 새로운 형태의 연금술을 직접 경험해 보길 바란다.

Oh Youkyeong visualizes the constantly changing world within various relationships through installation artworks that repeat entanglement and accumulation. 

Would it be a conincidence that crystal has become one of the main ingredients of Youkyeong's work? 'The Tower of Baram', which is composed of highly transparent and shiny crystal balls, projects the artist's time and space. If you look through the crystal sphere, you can find out that in the work, which is material but non-material, the image is formed upside down. The artist is involved in the deep inside and intertwined to capture the iconic world. A unified unit creates an imbalance in modular harmony. I hope you experience constant change and a new type of alchemy for yourself.
